DESCRIPTION:
During the 5-day residential summer camp, participants will receive comprehensive instruction in the fundamentals of technology and business analytics, along with insights into their real-world applications within a business context. Our approach to learning will encompass a well-rounded and practical experience, integrating a variety of social and engaging activities. The program will offer a blend of learning modalities, combining educational and interactive elements. These activities may include:
- Educational Components: The summer camp's daily activities feature hands-on data analytics training, an entrepreneurship workshop, and empowerment sessions aimed at enhancing students' skills and knowledge. Students will have the opportunity to participate in corporate office visits such as Bank of America Headquarters in Charlotte, NC Synchrony Corporate Office in Charlotte, NC
- Panel Discussions: To provide valuable insights and inspiration, we host panel discussions featuring recent alumni who will share their college experiences and offer tips on achieving success both in higher education and as they prepare for the challenges of the real world.
- Social Activities: Students will have the opportunity to enjoy recreational outings, including visits to Sparetime Bowling, a trip to the International Civil Rights Museum, and a semi-formal banquet dinner.

Entrepreneurs & Innovators NexGen Residential Summer Camp 2026
Session 1: June 14-19, 2026
This summer, the Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEEI) at North Carolina A&T State University invites high school students to take part in an exciting, immersive experience through our annual Entrepreneurs & Innovators NexGen Residential Summer Camp, and we’re doing it a little differently this year!
New for 2026: Hosted at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG)
For Summer 2026, the entire Entrepreneurs & Innovators NexGen Residential Summer Camp will be held on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), providing students with a fresh environment while still receiving the high-quality programming led by the Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at North Carolina A&T.
Program Overview
This fun, interactive, and engaging residential camp is designed for high school students who are curious about entrepreneurship, innovation, and future career pathways. Participants will:
- Develop an entrepreneurial mindset
- Learn how to discover problems and identify needs in the marketplace
- Create and pitch a vetted business idea
Students will also participate in exciting field trips and experiences, including:
- A visit from Molten Makerspace, a premier makerspace for inventors and entrepreneurs
- UNC Greensboro PORTAL tour and panel discussions with entrepreneurs and support professionals
- Topgolf Greensboro
- NCAT Campus Tour
Additional activities include:
- Personal financial literacy education
- Interactive STEM activities (Python programming and Game Development)
- Fun social events such as Movie Night, Karaoke Night, and Mix & Mingle events
Ultimately, this camp gives students a real look into entrepreneurship and innovation as a career pathway, helping them expand their post-secondary options.

Eligibility & Application Process
This year, students must apply and be selected to participate.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2.8 GPA
- Applications will be reviewed through a selection process
Capacity per session:
- Minimum: 28 campers
- Maximum: 40 campers
Application Deadlines:
- Session 1: Applications due by April 3, 2026
Acceptance, Payment & Waitlist
- Acceptance letters will be sent via email.
- Once accepted, families will have 3 business days to submit full payment to secure the student’s spot.
- If payment is not received within 3 business days, the student will be removed from the acceptance list, and we will proceed to the students on the waitlist.
Cost
- $1,200 per camper
Refund Policy
If a student is accepted but an unexpected or unforeseen circumstance occurs, the Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurship & Innovation will offer a 50% refund.

Discover, Explore, and Build Confidence in Math! This one-week camp helps students strengthen foundational math skills through engaging, hands-on activities aligned with North Carolina’s Mathematics Standards. Campers will explore number sense, operations, fractions, measurement, and geometry using puzzles, games, and real-world applications. Each activity is designed to build conceptual understanding, promote mathematical reasoning, and encourage collaboration.
Focus Areas (Aligned with NC Math Standards):
- Operations & Algebraic Thinking: Exploring multiplication, division, and patterns in numbers.
- Number & Operations—Fractions: Understanding parts of a whole through visuals and models.
- Measurement & Data: Applying math to time, volume, and data collection challenges.
- Geometry: Investigating shapes, angles, and spatial reasoning in fun, creative ways.

Future Innovators Wanted! Step into the lab and take your curiosity to the next level in Amazing Science Camp. This session is designed for middle-grade students ready to dive deeper into scientific exploration. Each day focuses on a different area of science—engineering design, physics in motion, chemistry reactions, and environmental science—where campers design, build, and test their own experiments. Students will also explore real-world applications of STEM concepts, use problem-solving skills to complete team challenges, and finish the week by presenting their experiments and reflections in a mini “Science Expo.”

The Certified Clinical Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students to function as professionals in multiple healthcare settings. Medical assistants with a clinical background perform various clinical tasks, including administering medications and minor procedures, performing an EKG, obtaining laboratory specimens for testing, educating patients, and other related tasks.
This course covers the following key areas and topics:
- Clinical responsibilities of the medical office, assisting the physician with patient-related care
- Preparing patients for examination and treatment, routine procedures, and diagnostic testing
- HIPAA, patient confidentiality, legal aspects of healthcare, and regulatory patient care issues
- Recording and taking of vital signs, blood pressure, and other patient care items related to the physician's office visit
- Review and administration of medications, allergies, and other pharmacology-related items
- Laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, and the proper techniques required to collect specimens for laboratory analysis
- Cardiology and the proper placement of leads when taking a 12-lead EKG
Note:This course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from August 11, 2026, to November 12, 2026, with required lab sessions held every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students who successfully complete the classroom portion of the program will be eligible to sit for the CCMA credential exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
